It is a content-based social integration platform which connects Professional chefs with dining audience. In order to provide a good dining so that people can sit together and enjoy the food they love most from the hardworking Chefs, Chef Ex aims to re-connect these two separate factions of society through the dedicated features of this platform. It allows its users to discover, follow and visit a Chef, at the ease of a click. Moreover, an enthusiast foodie can easily connect with his favorite Chef through this platform. You just need to sign-up first and then you can check-out all Chefs in your area or a restaurant is doing special today, can reserve a table and dine a 3-course meal.

Key Challenges

• The biggest challenge was to create a unique website which can connect various professional Chefs around the world with the dining audience.
• Another major challenge was to develop a content-based social integration of this platform.
• It was quite challenging to deploy some unique, useful and advanced features in the application which helps in providing more engagement to its users.
• Perfection in the sense of UI (user interface) with smooth animations throughout was the last challenge for us.

Our Development Process

• The Discovery Phase- Our business analysts performed a lot of research and brainstorming before the app development process. At the end of the discovery phase the “Who, Why What, When and Where” of the project were thoroughly scrutinized.
• The Execution Phase- After gathering all the nuts and bolts to proceed, it was time for project execution. Our designers, developers and quality analysts followed agile development process for execution and worked side-by-side to achieve the project aims. Our project managers also did regular reviews to check the progress of the project went smoothly and according to the time.
• Sprint Base Project Delivery-We took client’s feedback on each stage of development and applied the feedback in the project. It helped us to meet the client’s expectations in the best possible manner.
• The Deployment Phase- Now, the final web app was ready to be unleashed to the world after rigorous development & testing period. We deployed the app in the app store.

• Chefs would be able to post recipes, picture feeds, tips and tricks etc from their panel. They would be able to view feeds from the other chefs on their activity stream with whom they are connected.
• There are three kinds of user chef, end user, and admin.
• The users will get special attention from the Chef when he reserves a dining.
• This platform has each partner restaurant offering 3 Course Menu designed by the Chef, especially for Chef Ex diners.
• Chef gets notified whenever a user like and comment on feeds, follow and rate on his profile etc.
