Project Type

Crew journey is developed as a flight tracking website as well as a mobile application by using which the users can search for flights and can select their flights. Once the flight got selected, they get continuous notifications for the respective flight availability. This platform will provide a list of airlines which user can select to make a request. The request would be limited to 2 requests per day after which user would not be able to make any further requests on the website. Whenever a request is made on the platform for a particular flight to get information, the request would be sent to the airline community members who have selected that airline to provide load information. They can then further add the load information and reply. Comments or Flag user, Indicating the information is incorrect and user needs to change information.

Key Challenges

• Due to the presence of many similar apps and flight tracking websites, it was a great challenge for us to develop a unique website cum flight tracking app which can provide a list of airline services to them.
• Another major challenge was to deploy some unique, useful and advanced features in the application which provide more engagement to its users.
• Perfection in the sense of UI (user interface) with smooth animations throughout was the last challenge for us.

Our Development Process

• The Discovery Phase- Our business analysts performed a lot of research and brainstorming before the app development process. At the end of the discovery phase the “Who, Why What, When and Where” of the project were thoroughly scrutinized.
• The Execution Phase- After gathering all the nuts and bolts to proceed, it was time for project execution. Our designers, developers and quality analysts followed agile development process for execution and worked side-by-side to achieve the project aims. Our project managers also did regular reviews to check the progress of the project went smoothly and according to the time.
• Sprint Base Project Delivery-We took client’s feedback on each stage of development and applied the feedback in the project. It helped us to meet the client’s expectations in the best possible manner.
• The Deployment Phase- Now, the app was ready to be unleashed to the world after rigorous development & testing period. We deployed the app in the app store.

• Delay or Cancellations update: You get live updates for any delay or cancellation statistics on the same day.
• MiseryMap: It gives you the real-time analysis whether the flight is on time or facing any misery through its location map.
• You can browse by airport, operator and aircraft type.
• There is an IFR route analyzer using which you can find all routes for a particular flight.
